You may not know Regie Hamm by name, but you probably know some of his songs. He has written or co-written more than 400 songs, with 20 #1 hits. His songs have been recorded by Point of Grace , Clay Crosse , Jaci Velasquez , among many others.
Yet his most popular achievement may very well have come from a little TV show known as…
Reggie’s song, "The Time Of My Life", was entered into the AI song competition along with thousands of entries from all over. It survived the cut down to 20 songs and then was selected by online voters as the winner of the whole enchilada!
Scott Krippayne enjoyed the same surprise last year with "This Is My Now", which Jordin Sparks went on to record after winning American Idol Season 6 .
Now, it’s "time" for David Cook and Regie Hamm. Woohoo!
