It is difficult to let them go even though we know they are sitting at the feet of Jesus and praising our God and Savior. One of the best words of advice I have received was "get in the Word and stay in the Word". That sounded so corney to me when I first heard it, but when we are consumed by grief and we become numb. Surround yourselves with those who love you and those you love, accept the outpouring of love that is being directed your way, and dont shut out the world. I have included the words of a poem that a friend shared with me when my mother died, I hope it brings you comfort. May God bless you and hold you in the palm of His hand during this time.
