Dan & Lori Van Veen tell us about little kids who spend much of their childhoods in prisons with their incarcerated moms, then get kicked out to the streets on their own.
Why would these kids have to be punished for what their moms have done? Hear the story on the podcast below.
Bolivia Hope Center wants to help this situation. Get more info at ngm.ag.org . Click on the Coins for Kids logo below the left-hand navigation.
You can also email Dan at dvanveen@ag.org or Lori at lvanveen@ag.org to ask about their garage sale this weekend and the marathon they’re running in the fall to raise money for this project.

If you’re like me, everyone that you know is a scrapbooker. We get together and have scrapbooking parties and I look at the pages that my friends do, and I’m in awe. My pages never look that good! I’ve determined that I want to have the finished product, but I don’t want the stress of actually putting it together.

The last 8 weeks has been at times difficult, painful, exhilarating, exciting, and sometimes satisfying. A huge thanks to the trainers (Jessi & Jeremy M.) for leading the Natural Disasters and the Hurricanes into a challenging, life-changing experience.
Saturday, April 5, 2008 is our last team workout competition at Sequiota park (weather permitting!). It looks to be cold & frosty - and probably muddy. But, hey, if you’re gonna tough out 8 weeks of fitness training, why end it in a cushy gym with heaters?
It will be a hard-fought victory for the Blue team - yeah, I trash-talk again - and I couldn’t be happier for my teammates who have carried the bulk of the load the whole time.
And, of course, YOU’RE INVITED to cheer us on if you like! Just come at 8, dressed warm. And video cameras to catch Jenn’s humiliating moments are most welcome!
