Skillet is a Christian rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. The band currently consists of husband John (lead vocals, bass) and wife Korey Cooper (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) along with Jen Ledger (drums, vocals) and Seth Morrison (lead guitar). The band has released nine albums, two receiving Grammy nominations: Collide and Comatose.
About Kari Jobe:
For more than 15 years, well-respected worship leader Kari Jobe has been using her gifts to lead people into the presence of God. When she began leading worship at age 13, she never imagined she would be nominated for a GRAMMY®, win a Dove Award or be praised by the New York Times. She only knew she had a heart for broken people and a deep desire to lead them to the cross.
About Building 429:
Through their songs and their high energy live shows, GRAMMY-nominated Building 429 is a band that has been touted throughout their 15-year career as “authentic and amazing – uplifting and unforgettable,” along with being “truly focused on bringing glory to God.” Their name is derived from a Biblical passage known as Ephesians 4:29, which, in the New International Version of the Bible, reads as follows: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
About John Crist:
With over 150 million video views, comedian and viral sensation John Crist is the next big thing in standup comedy. Whether you know him from viral videos like “Millenial International,” “Road Rage in the Church Parking Lot,” or BuzzFeed’s “Signs You Grew Up Christian,” Crist has solidified his comedic prowess with over 200 live shows a year. “It’s only a matter of time until John Crist is a household name. He is so likable and his stand-up is top notch.” Tim Hawkins, who Crist has performed with over 100 times says, “This guy ain’t no opener. John Crist is the real deal.”
About Jordan Feliz:
In 2012, Jordan Feliz left his hard rock band A Current Affair to pursue a solo music career. After a series of part time jobs working as everything from a handyman to a valet, he became a church worship leader. In 2014 he was signed by Centricity Music and released his debut album, "The River". Jordan is best known for the songs "The River" and "Never Too Far Gone" and has won a Dove Award for New Artist of the Year.
With the release of their 18th recording, Swallow the Ocean, Newsong members Eddie Carswell, Billy Goodwin, Russ Lee, Matt Butler, Jack Pumphrey, Mark Clay, and Rico Thomas continue their legacy with a collection of songs that reflects the influence of fellow Winter Jam headliners, the organizations NewSong partners with to help those in need, and the core principles of evangelism that continue to be the cornerstone of their ministry.
