Our 18mth old son,Lucas is going in for surgery Wednesday for a hydrocele repair and a possible hernia. He may have to stay in the hospital for 24hrs. Prayers are appreciated, thank you so much.
My husband is having a really hard time at work. I am struggling with depression. We just found out his dad has cancer. He starts chemo on Wed. they have given him a year, maybe 18mo with chemo. This has been very hard on all of us. So please keep us in your prayers. Thank you and God Bless
I'm new to 88.3 the wind, and I am so glad that Ben went home to be with his Savior and LORD. I know he will be greatly missed. The funny thing is that I heard his add on 88.3 the wind to accept Jesus as Lord, not just as Savior, something I really needed to hear just before he passed......

My husband passed away yesterday of pancreatic cancer. We were expecting it but not this soon. He was 46 years old. Our children are 22 (son), 18 (daughter), and 17 (son). My 17 year old son has been carrying the man-of-the-house load for a few months but it's really hitting him now how much he will be carrying to help me. Pray for all of us for strength and comfort. Pray for me for wisdom as I fully take the load of head of home. My husband was a Christian so we have that comfort but I think the changes that his death will bring are scaring all of us a little. Thanks so much for your prayers. It's what I've been leaning on since we found out he had cancer.

daughter has a teaching job
My parents left me our family home in thier will, it is my only hope of owning a home. I am a single parent and I have no money for an attourney. I am going to lose the house in probate unless a miracle happens. I have no hope.
Please pray that the Lord will give me wisdom in bringing up my 6yr old son in the Lord's way. He accepted Jesus in his heart recently. And that I will be a much happier person. Thank you.

my husband jeff has ms and has several doctor visits and test coming up. all though he has insureance through my employer , his copays are costing us alot of money which we dont have since he has been unemployed for 15 months. please pray for him as this disease is taking over his body, his emotional state of mind and his spritual nature , and that God will continue to provide the necessary finacial means necessary to be able to attend all doctor visits. thank you
I will like to do a prayer request for Ben birdsong and for his family to comfert his family. Everybody is going to miss him very much on the radio it is not going to be the same without him on the radio. He was a good friend to everybody and a good manger to.

I heard the news of Ben's passing today on your station. My heart and prayers go out to his family and to all of you at the station.
Please pray for the family and friends of Ben Birdsong who passed away suddenly last night, doing what he loved; playing tennis. Ben was a dear friend and tennis partner to me for many years. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. My hearts and prayers go out to Kathleen and the rest of his family, including his work family at The Wind, and his tennis family out at Turtlebrook.

I would like to request prayer for my cousin Randy who is in the hospital with major head trauma and a broken neck from a fall, and has now developed pneumonia. My sister fights depression, has a blood disorder, is bipolar, & the list could go on forever with all her medical problems. On top of this she has 3 kids all of which have a list of their own. With the depression & bipolar disorder she is never happy to say the least, everything with her can change in the blink of an eye. She constantly looks to make everyone around her miserable by stirring the pot,all the time to keep someone in hotwater. It is so hard to constantly be standing up for her even though I know she treats people so bad, but she will always be my sister! Just asking for love & a forgiving heart.

I injured my back at work back in April, on lite duty work comp. and then was fired June 6th. I now have exhausted all money I had in the bank and the company is fighting unemployment. Utilities have been off since July 2nd and the house and other bills are past due...I'm trying to keep what little faith I have left. Believe it or not the thing that hurts me the most is that I pledged to the Wind and I haven't been able to make good on my pledge. Please...pray for me.
I am going through an ugly divorce, which I never believed in, but I realize now, it's the right thing for the kids. I have been diagnosed with inflamed optic nerves, and will be having an MRI soon, to see if I need to have surgery. I have chronic epilepsy. It is questionable that my daughter has been sexually abused by her father. I'm looking into that. It seems like Satan is coming at us through every way he knows how. I feel like Job.
My friend Darren has been going through a lot of pain lately. He hurts almost all the time and he needs to find a doctor to help with the issue he's having. He has several hernias and some throat and back problems and needs healing soon. I ask that you all pray for quick healing for his body, and continual faith in his heart and mind to remember that God is with him and will not forsake him. And prayer for his brother to be strong for him and to encourage him in times of weakness. This past year has been trying to say the least.We had 7 deaths in our family, one of which was my brother-in-law the day before our anniversary. He was our best man, and he & my husband we as close as two brothers could ever be. This has been super hard because he found him, now he has constant nightmares and is very distant and never really seems happy. We are coming up on our 28th anniversary in August. I just want to be close to him and have fun again.
